Requires an Consultant on contract on tenure basis for a period of One year as follows :
Consultant (Prototype Manufacturing-LCH)
1. Qualification :
Should posses Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Background Experience :
(a) General :
Should posses a minimum of 25 years of Aircraft Manufacturing/structural Assembly/Equipping / Erection experience in the following areas :
• Building of mock-up / interface Check rig, prototype building from parts fabrication to sub Assembly, main Assembly, and equipping.
• Integration of Turbo shaft engine as twin engined helicopter including air intake, exhaust, engine mount, fire walls, drain system, cowlings and fire extinguishing system.
• Installation and functional checks of Air-conditioning System, Hydraulic system, Cockpit instrument panels and coamings, Fuel system, Landing Gear, Aircraft seats and engines.
• Control rigging and carrying out function checks of various systems.
• Preparation of the Aircraft for ground runs and development flights including procedures for getting Certification Authorities clearance.
• Preparation of various charts to execute / monitor the programme of LCH prototype building etc.
• Airframe servicing, engine servicing (Periodic / calendar).
• Manufacturing / Assembly sequence of Fuselage structure, Equipping & their functional checks / acceptance run / PI Checks procedure.
